At this exact moment in time, space greats like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Sir Richard Branson are staking their claim in the universe as the new pioneers of space travel. Elon Musk with his Mars Society Plan, Jeff Bezos with his dream of space colonies, and Sir Richard Branson with his intragalactic luxury space travel, and hotels across the galaxy, will all soon be the new reality for life in our universe.
In addition, the recent NASA announcement of the signing between eight nations of the Artemis Accord will standardize lunar explorations, and again revitalize the immediate need to foster future cooperation as we venture back into space missions. NASA will launch Artemis III that will send the first woman to the moon in 2024.
Nokia has just signed a multi-million dollars contract with NASA to build a 4G cellular communications network on the moon that will include texting.
If this is not enough to prove that we are moving ahead at almost the speed of light in space, the UN has named an Ambassador as head of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). As Ambassador, her job includes tracking extraterrestrials if, and when they will make contact with humanity.
